Fireplace Renovation & Woodburner Installation in Minehead
Our client wanted to modernise their fireplace and replace the gas fire with a woodburner.
The project involved installing a limestone surround and slate hearth then tiling the recess with slate tiles and to create a contemporary look.
Once the fireplace renovation had been completed we installed a multi fuel woodburner.
Before Fireplace Renovation
We organised the gas fire to be disconnected before removing with the current surround. We then enlarged the fireplace and installed a new lintel above the recess to support the chimney breast
After Fireplace Renovation
Completed fireplace renovation and installation of woodburner with limestone surround, tiled recess and slate hearth.
The recess tiles are available in various other designs and colours.
